2008 Awards
2008 Awards
The following prizes will be awarded at the 2008 Exhibition:
- Sculpture in Context will select up to 4 works for an award of €500 each. This award is for a large work of distinction in any medium and is intended to encourage large outdoor works.
- The Hallward and Mill Cove Award for a work of distinction in any medium. The amount of the award will be €1,500 with the opportunity of a solo exhibition in 2009/2010 at the Hallward, Merrion Square, or Mill Cove Gallery, Mill Cove House West Cork.
- CAST Ltd award for a work of distinction in any medium. This award will be for casting a work in bronze, foundry costs to the value of €1,250.
The awards will be announced and presented on opening night. The judges' decision will be final .
A Sculpture in Context award of €300 for the favourite sculpture voted by the public will be awarded at the end of the exhibition.
